Manual Manipulation
Our goal is to provide the best possible approach to fixing your unique problem. Spinal Manipulation is a  technique that treats back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal conditions via the application of force to the spinal joints, with the idea being that such treatment of dysfunctional areas in the spine can restore the spine’s structural integrity, reduce pain and initiate the body’s natural healing processes.

Toggle Drop
Toggle drop is when the chiropractor, using crossed hands, presses down firmly on a particular area of the spine. Then, with a quick and precise thrust, the chiropractor adjusts the spine. This is done to improve mobility in the vertebral joints.

Lumbar Roll
When performing lumbar roll, the chiropractor positions the patient on his or her side, then applies a quick and precise manipulative thrust to the misaligned vertebra, returning it to its proper position.

Table Adjustments
The patient lies on a special table with sections that drop down. The chiropractor applies a quick thrust at the same time the sections drops. The dropping of the table allows for a lighter adjustment without the twisting positions that can accompany other techniques.

Instrument Adjustments
We refer to instrument adjustments as the gentlest method of adjusting the spine. The patient lies on the table face down while the chiropractor uses a spring-loaded activator instrument to perform the adjustment.

SOT
SOT uses a set of blocks to reposition the pelvis and sacrum. It is coordinated with the use of manual manipulation of the cervical spine. The patient may be prone or pupine and there are muscle and leg length checks to determine where the imbalance is located. The blocks are then used to correct imbalances.

Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is the relief of pressure on one or many pinched nerves (neural impingement) of the spinal column. Spinal decompression can be achieved both surgically and non-surgically and is used to treat conditions that result in chronic back pain such as disc bulge, disc herniation, sciatica, spinal stenosis, isthmic and degenerative spondylolisthesis.

Physical Modality Treatments

Hydrotherapy – Hydrotherapy is used to provide heat and massage to the patient prior to the adjustment. It allows the muscles to relax so that the adjustment works better.

Flexion Distraction – This technique uses a special table to stretch your spine and muscles taking the pressure off the nerves. It is highly effective for use on degenerative disc issues, sciatica and muscle spasms.

Electric Stimulation – A low dose of electricity that causes muscle contractions which releases endorphins and gently massages strained muscles.

Phuel and Biofreeze – These are products that are applied to the area of complaint. Biofreeze is an Icey-Hot that helps to reduce the pain in the area. Phuel supports therapeutic recovery tightness, cramping, and decreased range of motion.

Therapeutic Massage – We occasionally do some massage work on specific trigger points. This is a highly effective tool to remove painful nodules in your muscles.

Kinesio Taping – This is used to help stabilize muscles and joints. By applying this elastic tape it helps in the movement of the muscle and can stabilize a joint.

What is hurting you?

Neck Pain
– We treat all kinds of neck issues, from sprain/strains to stiffness, cricks, subluxations, disc and nerve issues

Shoulder Pain– We work on stabilizing muscle tissues and allowing them to heal properly, then rehabilitating them to allow for proper motion. Frozen-shoulder, sprain/strain are some of the more common conditions we treat.

Wrist Pain – Whether from a fall, overuse, carpal tunnel, musculo-skeletal complaint we treat them all.

Lower Back Pain – Most conditions of the back are multi-faceted, meaning there is a joint and muscle component. We work on treating both through therapy and adjustments.

Knee Pain – Most of the time we work on stabilization of the knee. This is achieved through muscle work, electric stimulation and taping

Foot Pain – The most common being Plantar Fasciitis, we offer shoe and insert options through our Vionic products as well as taping and adjustments.
